เมื่อวันที่ 7 สิงหาคม 2569 นางสาวณัฐนิภา บุรุษพัฒน์ กงสุลใหญ่ ณ นครแวนคูเวอร์ ในฐานะประธานคณะกรรมการกงสุลใหญ่อาเซียนประจำนครแวนคูเวอร์ (ACGV) วาระเดือนกรกฎาคม-ธันวาคม 2569 พร้อมด้วยกงสุลใหญ่และผู้แทนจากอินโดนีเซีย มาเลเซีย ฟิลิปปินส์ และเวียดนาม ร่วมเป็นเจ้าภาพจัดงานเลี้ยงรับรองเนื่องในโอกาสวันอาเซียนประจำปี 2569 โดยมีนาย Paul Choi, Parliamentary Secretary for Trade to the Minister of Jobs and Economic Growth, MLA for Burnaby South-Metrotown ในฐานะแขกเกียรติยศ และ ดร. Dr. Paul Evans, Professor Emeritus, UBC’s School of Public Policy and Global Affairs เข้าร่วมและกล่าวสุนทรพจน์ในพิธีเปิดงาน นอกจากนี้ ยังมีแขกผู้มีเกียรติเข้าร่วมงานหลายท่าน อาทิ น.ส. Anne Kang, Minister of Tourism, Arts, Culture and Sport, MLA for Burnaby Centre คณะกงสุลต่างประเทศประจำนครแวนคูเวอร์ ผู้แทนภาครัฐและภาคธุรกิจแคนาดา

ในโอกาสดังกล่าว กงสุลใหญ่ฯ/ประธาน ACGV ยังได้มอบหนังสือสร้างเสริมความรู้ความเข้าใจเกี่ยวกับอาเซียนให้แก่ผู้แทนจากสถาบันการศึกษาต่าง ๆ ในนครแวนคูเวอร์ ได้แก่ University of British Columbia, Vancouver Community College, Simon Fraser University, Western Community College และ Asia Pacific Foundation of Canada

การจัดงานวันอาเซียน เป็นไปเพื่อระลึกถึงการก่อตั้งและความสำคัญของอาเซียน ในฐานะองค์กรระดับภูมิภาคที่มีบทบาทหลักในการเสริมความร่วมมือ ความสมานฉันท์ สันติภาพ และความเจริญรุ่งเรืองทางเศรษฐกิจอย่างยั่งยืน รวมทั้งเพื่อกระชับความสัมพันธ์ระหว่างอาเซียนกับหุ้นส่วนต่าง ๆ ในนครแวนคูเวอร์และในแคนาดา

On 7 August 2026, Ms. Nattanipa Burusapat, Consul General of Thailand in Vancouver, as the Chair of the ASEAN Consuls General in Vancouver Committee (ACGV) for the July–December 2026 term, together with the Consuls General and representative of Indonesia, Malaysia, the Philippines, and Vietnam, co hosted the ASEAN Day Reception 2026 at the Liu Institute for Global Issues, University of British Columbia.

The event was honoured by the presence of The Honourable Paul Choi, Parliamentary Secretary for Trade to the Minister of Jobs and Economic Growth and MLA for Burnaby South–Metrotown, as the Guest of Honour and Dr. Paul Evans, Professor Emeritus at the UBC’s School of Public Policy and Global Affairs, where both of them delivered remarks at the opening ceremony. Other distinguished guests included The Honourable Anne Kang, Minister of Tourism, Arts, Culture and Sport and MLA for Burnaby Centre, members of the Vancouver Consular Corps, and representatives from Canadian government and business sectors.

On this occasion, the ACGV Chair presented ASEAN educational publications to representatives from academic institutions in Vancouver, namely UBC, Vancouver Community College, Simon Fraser University, Western Community College, and the Asia Pacific Foundation of Canada, to further promote awareness and understanding of ASEAN among students and the broader public.

The ASEAN Day celebration commemorates the founding and significance of ASEAN as a regional organization that plays a central role in advancing cooperation, unity, peace, and sustainable economic prosperity. The event also serves to strengthen engagement between ASEAN and its partners in Vancouver and across Canada.
