5. Legalization at the Royal Thai Consulate-General

• A Photocopy of your ID (passport or driver license)
• Complete a Legalzation Application Form
• Fee: 30 CAD per stamp

6. Authentication of Thai Documents

The Royal Thai Consulate-General can certify only documents issued by Thai authorities (the original document must be presented), including Thai national identification cards, passports, and documents issued by the Royal Thai Consulate-General, such as birth certificates, marriage certificates, divorce certificates, and death certificates registered at the Royal Thai Consulate-General.

**Other documents issued by Thai authorities in Thailand, such as birth certificates registered in Thailand and name/surname change certificates, must first be authenticated by the Department of Consular Affairs, Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Thailand.**

6.1 Complete the Legalization Application Form.

6.2 The original document issued by the Thai authorities.

6.3 A photocopy of the document to be authenticated.

6.4 A photocopy of your Thai national identification card or passport.

6.5 Fee: 30 CAD per stamp

7. Declaration of Consent for a Thai Spouse to Have Sole Ownership Rights to Land

7.1 Complete the Legalization Application Form.

7.2 Complete the Declaration of Consent Form.

7.3 A photocopy of the foreign spouse’s passport.

7.4 A photocopy of the land title deed.
