เมื่อวันที่ 25 พฤษภาคม 2569 นางสาวณัฐนิภา บุรุษพัฒน์ กงสุลใหญ่ ณ นครแวนคูเวอร์ ได้พบหารือกับ Dr. A.R. Elangovan, Associate Vice-President ของ University of Victoria (UVic) เกี่ยวกับการส่งเสริมความร่วมมือทางวิชาการระหว่าง UVic กับมหาวิทยาลัยของไทย โดยในปัจจุบัน UVic มีความร่วมมือกับมหาวิทยาลัยไทยในหลากหลายรูปแบบ ทั้งการแลกเปลี่ยนนักศึกษาและอาจารย์ การฝึกอบรมสำหรับผู้บริหาร ตลอดจนการจัดหลักสูตร Double Degree ร่วมกัน ในโอกาสนี้ กงสุลใหญ่ยังได้หารือเกี่ยวกับแนวทางการพัฒนาความร่วมมือด้านการวิจัยทางวิทยาศาสตร์ โดยเฉพาะในสาขาเทคโนโลยีชีวภาพ (Biotechnology) รวมถึงโอกาสในการส่งเสริมความร่วมมือระหว่าง UVic กับหน่วยงานส่งเสริม Startup ของไทย

On 25 May 2026, Ms. Nattanipa Burusapat, Consul-General of Thailand in Vancouver, met with Dr. A.R. Elangovan, Associate Vice-President of the University of Victoria (UVic), to discuss ways to strengthen academic cooperation between UVic and Thai universities. At present, UVic maintains various forms of collaboration with Thai universities, including student and faculty exchanges, executive training programmes, and joint double-degree programmes. On this occasion, the Consul-General also discussed opportunities to enhance scientific research cooperation, particularly in the field of biotechnology, as well as potential collaboration between UVic and Thai startup incubators.
