เมื่อวันที่ 8 กรกฎาคม 2569 นางสาวณัฐนิภา บุรุษพัฒน์ กงสุลใหญ่ ณ นครแวนคูเวอร์ พร้อมด้วยคณะผู้แทนจากมหาวิทยาลัยขอนแก่น ได้เดินทางเยือนนครวิกตอเรีย และเยี่ยมชมมหาวิทยาลัยวิกตอเรีย (UVic) โดยคณะได้พบหารือกับคณะผู้บริหารมหาวิทยาลัยฯ นำโดย ดร. Elizabeth Croft, Acting President and Vice-Chancellor ดร. Elizabeth Adjin-Tettey, Associate Vice-President, Academic Programs และ ดร. A.R. (Elango) Elangovan, Associate Vice-President, Office of Global Engagement เพื่อแลกเปลี่ยนแนวทางการส่งเสริมความร่วมมือระหว่างมหาวิทยาลัยขอนแก่นและสถาบันการศึกษาอื่น ๆ ของไทยกับมหาวิทยาลัยวิกตอเรีย ทั้งในด้านความร่วมมือด้านการอุดมศึกษา การวิจัย การแลกเปลี่ยนนักศึกษาและบุคลากร การเรียนรู้เชิงปฏิบัติ (Experiential Learning) และการฝึกงาน (Co-op) รวมถึงการเชื่อมโยงความร่วมมือระหว่างมหาวิทยาลัยกับหน่วยงานและผู้ประกอบการของไทย โดยกงสุลใหญ่ฯ ยืนยันความพร้อมของสถานกงสุลใหญ่ฯ ในการประสานความร่วมมือระหว่าง UVic กับสถาบันการศึกษาและหน่วยงานของไทยอย่างต่อเนื่อง

On 8 July 2026, Ms. Nattanipa Burusapat, Consul General of Thailand in Vancouver, together with a delegation from Khon Kaen University (KKU), visited the University of Victoria (UVic) in Victoria, British Columbia. During the visit, the delegation held discussions with the University’s senior leadership, including Dr. Elizabeth Croft, Acting President and Vice-Chancellor; Dr. Elizabeth Adjin-Tettey, Associate Vice-President, Academic Programs; and Dr. A.R. (Elango) Elangovan, Associate Vice-President, Office of Global Engagement. The discussions focused on strengthening collaboration between KKU and UVic, as well as fostering broader partnerships between UVic and other Thai education institutions. Areas of potential cooperation include higher education, research, student and faculty exchanges, experiential learning, and co-operative education (co-op) programs. They also explored opportunities to enhance collaboration between universities and Thai government agencies and businesses.

On this occasion, the Consul General reaffirmed the Consulate General’s readiness to facilitate and promote continued cooperation between the University of Victoria and Thai educational institutions and relevant organizations.
