เมื่อวันที่ 7 กรกฎาคม 2569 นางสาวณัฐนิภา บุรุษพัฒน์ กงสุลใหญ่ ณ นครแวนคูเวอร์ ได้เดินทางไปพบปะและเยี่ยมเยียนชุมชนไทยในนครวิกตอเรีย เพื่อสอบถามความเป็นอยู่ การประกอบอาชีพ และการจัดกิจกรรมต่าง ๆ ของชุมชนไทย โดยชุมชนไทยได้ให้ข้อมูลว่า ปัจจุบันมีชาวไทยพำนักอาศัยอยู่ในนครวิกตอเรียประมาณ 400–500 คน

ในโอกาสดังกล่าว กงสุลใหญ่ฯ ได้เป็นเจ้าภาพเลี้ยงอาหารค่ำแก่ชุมชนไทย และขอบคุณชุมชนไทยที่เป็นกำลังสำคัญในการเผยแพร่รักษาประเพณีไทยและความเป็นไทยในต่างประเทศ รวมทั้งยืนยันความพร้อมในการสนับสนุนกิจกรรมของชุมชนไทยในนครวิกตอเรียอย่างต่อเนื่อง

On 7 July 2026, Ms. Nattanipa Burusapat, Consul General of Thailand in Vancouver, visited the Thai community in Victoria to learn about their well-being, occupations, and community activities. Members of the Thai community informed her that there are currently approximately 400–500 Thai nationals residing in Victoria.

On this occasion, the Consul General hosted a dinner for the Thai community and expressed her appreciation for their important role in preserving and promoting Thai traditions and culture abroad. She also reaffirmed the Consulate General’s commitment to continuously supporting the activities of the Thai community in Victoria.
