เมื่อวันที่ 11 สิงหาคม 2569 นางสาวณัฐนิภา บุรุษพัฒน์ กงสุลใหญ่ ณ นครแวนคูเวอร์ ได้พบหารือกับ Dr. Raynie Wood, Executive Director ของ Alberta Bureau for International Education (ABIE) เพื่อแลกเปลี่ยนข้อคิดเห็นเกี่ยวกับการส่งเสริมความร่วมมือด้านการศึกษานานาชาติระหว่างไทยกับรัฐแอลเบอร์ตา

ทั้งสองฝ่ายได้หารือเกี่ยวกับโอกาสและแนวทางในการส่งเสริมความเชื่อมโยงระหว่างสถาบันการศึกษาของไทยกับสถาบันการศึกษาในรัฐแอลเบอร์ตา รวมถึงการส่งเสริมการแลกเปลี่ยนนักศึกษา การฝึกงาน และความร่วมมือด้านการวิจัยและนวัตกรรม โดยเฉพาะในสาขาที่มีศักยภาพร่วมกัน อาทิ เทคโนโลยีดิจิทัล ปัญญาประดิษฐ์ นวัตกรรมการเกษตร เทคโนโลยีสะอาด และการท่องเที่ยว ตลอดจนบทบาทของการศึกษานานาชาติในการส่งเสริมความสัมพันธ์ในระดับประชาชน และการเสริมสร้างความสัมพันธ์ระหว่างไทยกับแคนาดาในระยะยาว โดยการเชื่อมโยงสถาบันการศึกษา ภาคการวิจัย และภาคอุตสาหกรรม จะช่วยให้การพัฒนาระหว่างไทยกับรัฐแอลเบอร์ตาเป็นไปอย่างยั่งยืน

On 11 August 2026, Ms. Nattanipa Burusapat, Consul‑General of Thailand in Vancouver, met with Dr. Raynie Wood, Executive Director of the Alberta Bureau for International Education (ABIE), to exchange views on advancing international education cooperation between Thailand and the Province of Alberta.

Both sides discussed opportunities and pathways to enhance linkages between Thai educational institutions and those in Alberta, including the promotion of student exchanges, internships, and collaboration in research and innovation. The meeting highlighted several areas of shared potential, such as digital technology, artificial intelligence, agricultural innovation, clean technology, and tourism. The Consul‑General and Dr. Wood also underscored the important role of international education in strengthening people‑to‑people ties and fostering long‑term relations between Thailand and Canada.

They agreed that deeper connections among educational institutions, research sectors, and industry partners would contribute to sustainable and mutually beneficial development between Thailand and the Province of Alberta.
