เมื่อวันที่ 20 กันยายน 2569 นางสาวณัฐนิภา บุรุษพัฒน์ กงสุลใหญ่ ณ นครแวนคูเวอร์ ได้พบหารือกับนาง Samantha Nguyen ผู้จัดการทั่วไป บริษัท Lucky Supermarket และนาย Hoan Nguyen ผู้จัดการทั่วไป Dong Phuong Distributor และเยี่ยมชมกิจการของ Lucky Supermarket ที่เมือง Edmonton โดยบริษัท Lucky Supermarket เป็นหนึ่งในบริษัทผู้นำเข้าผลิตภัณฑ์ วัตถุดิบประกอบอาหาร สินค้าอาหารและเครื่องดื่มจากประเทศไทยรายใหญ่ในแคนาดา

ทั้งสองฝ่ายหารือเกี่ยวกับการคัดเลือกผลิตภัณฑ์และสินค้าอาหารจากประเทศไทยมาจำหน่ายในแคนาดา การเพิ่มปริมาณและประเภทผลิตภัณฑ์ วัตถุดิบประกอบอาหารนำเข้าจากประเทศไทย ความต้องการของร้านอาหารไทยและผู้บริโภคในแคนาดา โดยเฉพาะในเมือง Edmonton การจัดกิจกรรมส่งเสริมอาหารไทย ตลอดจนปัญหาและอุปสรรคในการขนส่งและนำเข้าสินค้าจากไทย

ในการนี้ กงสุลใหญ่ฯ ได้เชิญผู้แทนบริษัท Lucky Supermarket เข้าร่วมงาน THAIFEX – Anuga Asia 2027 ซึ่งเป็นงานแสดงสินค้าอาหารและเครื่องดื่มที่ใหญ่และครบวงจรที่สุดในภูมิภาคเอเชีย ที่จะจัดขึ้นในเดือนพฤษภาคม 2570 ที่กรุงเทพฯ โดยจะเป็นโอกาสสำคัญในการเจรจาและขยายเครือข่ายธุรกิจ รวมทั้งพบหารือกับผู้ผลิตและผู้ส่งออกอาหารของไทย

On 20 September 2026, Ms. Nattanipa Burusapat, Consul-General of Thailand in Vancouver, met with Ms. Samantha Nguyen, General Manager of Lucky Supermarket, and Mr. Hoan Nguyen, General Manager of Dong Phuong Distributor, and visited Lucky Supermarket’s operations in Edmonton. Lucky Supermarket is one of the major importers in Canada of Thai products, food ingredients, food products, and beverages.

During the meeting, both sides discussed the selection of Thai products and food items for the Canadian market, opportunities to increase the volume and variety of products and food ingredients imported from Thailand, and the demand among Thai restaurants and consumers in Canada, particularly in Edmonton. They also exchanged views on Thai food promotion activities, as well as challenges and obstacles related to the transportation and importation of goods from Thailand.

On this occasion, the Consul-General invited representatives of Lucky Supermarket to participate in THAIFEX – Anuga Asia 2027, one of Asia’s largest and most comprehensive food and beverage trade exhibitions, which will be held in Bangkok in May 2027. The event will provide an important opportunity to explore business opportunities, expand business networks, and meet with Thai food producers and exporters.
