เมื่อวันที่ 10 ตุลาคม 2569 นางสาวณัฐนิภา บุรุษพัฒน์ กงสุลใหญ่ ณ นครแวนคูเวอร์ ได้เข้าร่วมและร่วมกล่าวในพิธีเปิดงาน Vancouver International Travel Expo ครั้งที่ 9 โดยมีภาคส่วนที่เกี่ยวข้องจากประเทศต่าง ๆ เข้าร่วมงานจำนวนมาก ซึ่งรวมถึงการออกบูธของประเทศไทย โดยการท่องเที่ยวแห่งประเทศไทย (ททท.) สำนักงานชิคาโก และบูธของสถานกงสุลใหญ่ประเทศสมาชิกอาเซียนประจำนครแวนคูเวอร์ (ASEAN Consuls General in Vancouver: ACGV) ได้แก่ อินโดนีเซีย มาเลเซีย ฟิลิปปินส์ และเวียดนาม
ในช่วงพิธีเปิดงาน กงสุลใหญ่ฯ ได้กล่าวเชิญชวนผู้เข้าร่วมงานเดินทางไปท่องเที่ยวที่ประเทศไทย และขอบคุณผู้ที่เกี่ยวข้องที่ได้จัดงานดังกล่าวขึ้น รวมทั้งขอบคุณ ททท. สำหรับการสนับสนุน ซึ่งนอกจากจะเป็นโอกาสอันดีในการประชาสัมพันธ์เสน่ห์และเอกลักษณ์ของไทยให้เป็นที่รู้จักอย่างกว้างขวางแล้ว ยังเป็นการเสริมสร้างความสัมพันธ์อันดีระหว่างประชาชนด้วย
ภายในงาน ยังมีการแสดงทางวัฒนธรรมของไทย โดยคณะนาฏศิลป์ซึ่งเป็นชุมชนไทยที่อาศัยอยู่ในนครแวนคูเวอร์ รวมทั้งการแสดงจากประเทศต่าง ๆ ซึ่งได้รับความสนใจจากผู้เข้าชมงานอย่างดียิ่ง
On 10 October 2026, Ms. Nattanipa Burusapat, Consul-General of Thailand in Vancouver, attended and delivered remarks at the opening ceremony of the 9th Vancouver International Travel Expo. The event brought together a wide range of stakeholders from various countries, including tourism promotion booths from Thailand, organized by the Tourism Authority of Thailand (TAT) Chicago Office, and from members of the ASEAN Consuls General in Vancouver (ACGV), namely Indonesia, Malaysia, the Philippines, and Vietnam.
During the opening ceremony, the Consul-General encouraged participants to visit Thailand and expressed appreciation to the organizers and all stakeholders involved in hosting the event. She also thanked TAT for its support. The event provided an excellent opportunity to promote Thailand’s unique attractions and cultural identity to a broader audience, while also fostering people-to-people ties and mutual understanding.
The Expo also featured Thai cultural performances by a traditional dance troupe from the Thai community in Vancouver, alongside performances from other countries. The cultural showcases were well received by visitors and contributed to the vibrant international atmosphere of the event.
