เมื่อวันที่ 19 พฤษภาคม 2569 นางสาวณัฐนิภา บุรุษพัฒน์ กงสุลใหญ่ ณ นครแวนคูเวอร์ พร้อมด้วยนางชญาดา สิรินุกุล ผู้อำนวยการสำนักงานส่งเสริมการค้าในต่างประเทศ ณ นครแวนคูเวอร์ ได้เข้าพบนาย Scott Pohorelic, Associate Dean of Culinary Arts ของ Southern Alberta Institute of Technology (SAIT) ณ เมืองคัลการี รัฐแอลเบอร์ตา เพื่อหารือเกี่ยวกับแนวทางความร่วมมือในการส่งเสริมอาหารไทยผ่านกิจกรรมด้านการเรียนการสอนของสถาบัน โดยทั้งสองฝ่ายเห็นพ้องที่จะร่วมกันจัดกิจกรรมในปี 2570 เพื่อเปิดโอกาสให้นักศึกษาของ SAIT ได้เรียนรู้การประกอบอาหารไทยจากเชฟผู้เชี่ยวชาญด้านอาหารไทย ซึ่งจะมีการหารือรายละเอียดและรูปแบบความร่วมมือเพิ่มเติมต่อไป

On 19 May 2026, Ms. Nattanipa Burusapat, Consul-General of Thailand in Vancouver, together with Mrs. Chayada Sirinukul, Director of Thai Trade Centre in Vancouver, met with Mr. Scott Pohorelic, Associate Dean of Culinary Arts at the Southern Alberta Institute of Technology (SAIT) in Calgary, Alberta, to discuss possible collaboration in promoting Thai cuisine through the institute’s educational activities. Both sides agreed in principle to jointly organize activities in 2027 to provide SAIT students with opportunities to learn Thai cooking from experienced Thai chefs. Further discussions on the details and format of the cooperation will continue.
