เมื่อวันที่ 17 สิงหาคม 2569 นางสาวณัฐนิภา บุรุษพัฒน์ กงสุลใหญ่ ณ นครแวนคูเวอร์ ได้เข้าเยี่ยมคารวะนาย Raphaël Dang กงสุลใหญ่สาธารณรัฐฝรั่งเศส ณ นครแวนคูเวอร์ โดยทั้งสองฝ่ายได้แลกเปลี่ยนข้อคิดเห็นเกี่ยวกับความสัมพันธ์ไทย–ฝรั่งเศส และแนวทางส่งเสริมความร่วมมือในสาขาที่มีศักยภาพ อาทิ วิทยาศาสตร์ เทคโนโลยีและนวัตกรรม ปัญญาประดิษฐ์ (AI) อวกาศและการบิน พลังงานสะอาด การพัฒนาที่ยั่งยืน และโอกาสด้านการลงทุนในเขตพัฒนาพิเศษภาคตะวันออก (EEC)

ทั้งสองฝ่ายยังได้แลกเปลี่ยนมุมมองเกี่ยวกับความร่วมมืออาเซียน–สหภาพยุโรป (ASEAN–EU) และพัฒนาการในภูมิภาคอินโด-แปซิฟิก พร้อมหารือแนวทางส่งเสริมความร่วมมือด้านกงสุล รวมถึงการช่วยเหลือและดูแลประชาชนของทั้งสองประเทศในเขตกงสุล ตลอดจนการจัดกิจกรรมด้านการศึกษาและวัฒนธรรม เพื่อส่งเสริมความสัมพันธ์ในระดับประชาชน

การพบหารือมีขึ้นในโอกาสครบรอบ 170 ปีความสัมพันธ์ทางการทูตไทย–ฝรั่งเศส ในปี 2569 โดยทั้งสองฝ่ายเห็นพ้องถึงความสำคัญของการสานต่อความสัมพันธ์อันใกล้ชิดและส่งเสริมความร่วมมือในสาขาต่าง ๆ ให้เกิดผลเป็นรูปธรรมยิ่งขึ้น

On 17 August 2026, Ms. Nattanipa Burusapat, Consul-General of Thailand in Vancouver, paid a courtesy call on Mr. Raphaël Dang, Consul-General of France in Vancouver. Both sides exchanged views on Thailand–France relations and ways to advance cooperation in areas of mutual interests, including science, technology and innovation, artificial intelligence (AI), space and aviation, clean energy, sustainable development, and investment opportunities in Thailand’s Eastern Economic Corridor (EEC).

They also exchanged views on ASEAN–EU cooperation and developments in the Indo-Pacific, and discussed ways to strengthen consular cooperation, including assistance and support for Thai and French nationals within their respective consular jurisdictions, as well as enhancing educational and cultural activities to promote people-to-people ties.

The meeting took place in 2026, marking the 170th anniversary of diplomatic relations between Thailand and France. Both sides reaffirmed the importance of maintaining their close relations and advancing cooperation in various areas in a more concrete manner.
