เมื่อวันที่ 20 ส.ค. 2569 นาย Ricardo Arredondo กงสุลใหญ่อาร์เจนตินา ณ นครแวนคูเวอร์ และหัวหน้าคณะกงสุลประจำรัฐบริติชโคลัมเบีย (Dean of the Consular Corps in British Columbia) พร้อมภริยา เป็นเจ้าภาพเลี้ยงอาหารค่ำแก่ นางสาวณัฐนิภา บุรุษพัฒน์ กงสุลใหญ่ ณ นครแวนคูเวอร์ Dr. Gina A. Jamoralin กงสุลใหญ่ฟิลิปปินส์ ณ นครแวนคูเวอร์ และ นาย Ahmad Shazril bin Shuhaimi กงสุลใหญ่มาเลเซีย ณ นครแวนคูเวอร์

ในโอกาสนี้ ได้มีการแลกเปลี่ยนข้อคิดเห็นเกี่ยวกับ การเมืองท้องถิ่น ความร่วมมือด้านวิชาการ ระบบสาธารณสุข และนโยบายด้านการศึกษาสำหรับนักศึกษาต่างชาติในรัฐบริติชโคลัมเบีย รวมทั้งหารือถึงจุดเด่นและศักยภาพของนครแวนคูเวอร์ในฐานะศูนย์กลางสำคัญด้านการค้า การท่องเที่ยว และการคมนาคมขนส่งของแคนาดา ตลอดจนโอกาสในการส่งเสริมความร่วมมือและการเชื่อมโยงระหว่างประเทศในภูมิภาค

นอกจากนี้ กงสุลใหญ่ทั้งสี่ฝ่าย ได้แลกเปลี่ยนมุมมองเกี่ยวกับ การเติบโตทางเศรษฐกิจของนครแวนคูเวอร์จากการเป็นหนึ่งในเมืองเจ้าภาพจัดการแข่งขัน FIFA World Cup 2026 ระหว่างวันที่ 11 มิ.ย.–19 ก.ค. 2569 ซึ่งเป็นโอกาสสำคัญในการส่งเสริมการท่องเที่ยว การค้า การลงทุน และภาคธุรกิจในท้องถิ่น รวมถึงการเสริมสร้างการเชื่อมโยงระหว่างนครแวนคูเวอร์กับนานาประเทศ

On 20 August 2026, Mr. Ricardo Arredondo, Consul General of Argentina in Vancouver and Dean of the Consular Corps in British Columbia, and his spouse hosted a dinner for Ms. Nattanipa Burusapat, Consul General of Thailand in Vancouver, Dr. Gina A. Jamoralin, Consul General of the Philippines in Vancouver, and Mr. Ahmad Shazril bin Shuhaimi, Consul General of Malaysia in Vancouver.

The dinner provided an opportunity to exchange views on local politics, academic cooperation, the healthcare system, and education policies for international students in British Columbia. The Consuls General also discussed Vancouver’s strengths and potential as a major Canadian hub for trade, tourism, and transportation, as well as opportunities to promote international cooperation and connectivity in the region.

The Consuls General further exchanged views on Vancouver’s economic growth as one of the host cities of the FIFA World Cup 2026, held from 11 June to 19 July 2026. The event was seen as an important opportunity to promote tourism, trade, investment, and local businesses, while further strengthening Vancouver’s international connectivity.
